You were really, really good (and remarkably patient with the many English people there who had never been to a ceilidh before!) I also really appreciate you letting my band play your instruments - it was a real moment for me to be able to play at my own wedding (although the instruments didn't sound half as good in our hands as they did in yours!) I liked the way you structured the evening - a dance, then a musical break - so people could catch there breath in-between dances. Maggie was brilliant and everyone was talking about her days afterwards - they said she had made the night! Her approach to people was great; with humour and encouragement, not that I gave people much change to sit down! Everything I requested was accommodated and your performance was very good and I would certainly recommend the band. You were very helpful at explaining the dances and creating a fun and exciting atmosphere where people of all ages could join in! I also enjoyed the covers music you played and thought it worked well as it allowed people to have a break from the ceilidh dancing and relax (and also re-gain enthusiasm for dancing again when the time came).
