One of the most energetic tributes on the circuit, with audience inter-action, great sound system, full light show and many props relative to the Blues Brothers movies.
Formed twenty years ago, their first gig came about when they were asked to perform at a charity event in 1988 which went down really well, there was an agent in the audience who booked the boys there and then, they went on to do many gigs up and down the country over the 8 years that they were together, sadly in 1996 one of the boys moved away so the show came to an end. Paul then went onto to have a very successful career as a solo artist over the next 10 years. During this time Paul never stopped looking for a new partner but just couldnt find the right person to step into the role of Elwood Blues until...That partner came along, in the form of his own son! Through the years Paul was performing solo, his son was there at rehearsals to see his father doing what he does best. As his son got older he went along to some of Pauls gigs to help with sound and lighting, then took a keen interest in the music industry. From 2001 he spent most of his time teaching himself to play the guitar and now has a very nice collection of guitars. He also spent 2 years in a rock band as a frontman and guitarist, writing the songs for the group which disbanded due to un-forseen circumstances. In late 2005 he overheard his father Paul discussing how he'd like to perform the Blues Brothers tribute again to Julie (His Wife). After hearing this, he researched the Blues Brothers and watched old videos of Paul and Kevin performing and was very enthused over the prospect of stepping into the role of Elwood. Karl Immediately approached Paul about the role and they practiced a song to see how his voice suited to Elwood's style and to see if their voices would gel. Ever since that day, they have been performing together in the UKs only Father & Son Blues Brothers tribute act. Fully self contained with lights. One of the UK's most Authentic Blues Brothers Tribute acts.
