lead them into the dining room to the skirl of the pipes.
pipe in the “Chieftain Haggis”, to the Burns tune, “A man’s a man for a’ that”.
give the “Address To the Haggis” with full actions before toasting the Haggis with whisky and piping it out again.
play for vigorous dances such as Strip the Willow and The Eightsome Reel or a slow Scottish Waltz after dinner.

Funerals:
the pipes are usually played for any of the following:
As the cortege leaves the family home
As the cortege arrives at the church or crematorium.
Leading the coffin into the church or crematorium.
As the mourners leave the crematorium.
As the coffin is carried to the graveside.
As the coffin is lowered into the grave.
At the end of the ceremony at the graveside - the Piper walks away with the music fading into the distance
