This is a 3 piece Scottish Dance Band, of 20 years experience. Comprising Fiddle, Accordion and Drum who work alongside a regular Caller or Caller of your choice.
This is a true Scottish Dance Band, continually growing their vast repetoire of Scottish Dance music. They thrive most on collecting, compiling and playing the very best sets of Scottish Dance music they can find, relevant to particular dances, based around the Royal Scottish Country Dance Societies they regularly play for first and foremost.
They play regularly across the East of England, into London, Kent down to Dover, Herts, Bedford, Cambridge, Suffolk and Norfolk.
Because of the above, they have the experience to play for other functions wanting a Scottish theme, such as Burns Nights, Hogmanays, Weddings, Ceilidhs and Barn Dances, where they pride themselves in being able to tailor dances to what is required,
encompassing all generations and all abilities, facilitating REAL and LASTING ENJOYMENT to everyone, ensuring a most memorable sunny afternoon or evening of uninhibited fun!

Accordionist normally wears Trews, but has a vast collection of kilts and garb.

The band was formed way back in 1995. Both musicians have played their instruments since they were children and both share a love of Scottish Dance music. The band has gigged most weekends since.
The Accordionist, moved to Fort William as a boy where he started playing the Accordion under the late John Stitt. Later joining the Argylle and Southern Highlanders Army as a serious Band Musician playing the Oboe, with Accordion as his second instrument.
The Fiddle Player, was motivated by The White Heather Club on BBCtv, back in the 1960's. Finding complete inspiration from the old greats like Ian Powrie, Moira Anderson,
Jimmy Shand. Later, discovering the great Scott Skinner, Neil Gow, William Marshall, the Frasers, the Hardies, and contemporaries, etc. Learned Violin at school. Much later realising her true love of Scottish music and 'an ear', and after playing in several other bands, found the Accordionist, set up the band and the rest is history!
