Profile

A truly electric four piece ceilidh band with fiddle/caller, bass, electric guitar and drums, adding an exciting, modern twist to traditional Ceilidh music
The musicians (Mary, Matt, Nicky and Steve) have more years combined experience than they care to admit, both at home and internationally, and hail from Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Central Belt - they play most places in Scotland, from the Borders to Perthshire.

Their repertoire is as long as 'Nessie’s tale' and don’t worry if you don’t know the dances as they will guide you with full instructions for each one. Their dances are quite easy and you’ll have so much fun, even wee old Auntie Maureen, or grumpy Sam from finance, might be persuaded to get up and have a go (in fact they might even dance together!).

They specialise in weddings, and they also play ceilidhs for St Andrews Night, St Patricks Day, Burns Suppers, Christmas nights out, school dances, birthday parties, fund-raisers and corporate events.

They bring the house down in all venues - from castles to canvases, from hotels to huts – in fact any event or place that wants to enjoy an evening of merriment with exciting music. A DJ is always included to play your favourite song for the first dance and later in the evening if required.

They like to put the ‘ding’ in ‘wedding’, and the ‘corr!’ in corporate’, so contact them now to make sure your evening will genuinely rock!*

*NB: Their music is much better than their puns!
* Irish born fiddle player with vast experience of Irish Ceilis, and Scottish Ceilidhs

* Well established act - recently on TV as part of STV Childrens Appeal October 2015

* Full instructions given for all dances by their highly experienced caller

* Award winning musicians

* In addition to the ceilidh band, they bring a disco as standard for the first song and later in the evening if required

You Guys ROCK!!!
Lorraine Kelly, STV Childrens Appeal
just wanted to say thanks again for putting on a great show for us. The Ceilidh Band was absolutely awesome on the night and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves . We got lots of positive feedback on how much fun the ceilidh was , everyone seem to be tapping along to the music and loved the jazzed up " rock " element of the ceilidh as opposed to a traditional one. I've got to give you full marks on our entrance, your introduction was timed to perfection and when the drum beat hit and the Canon in D started blaring out , the rooms atmosphere was electric . Loved the communication between us ,which is probably what made the night a success and Irene was really happy with how the ceilidh went , it got everyone dancing .

'My wife and I booked this ceilidh band for our wedding, and were absolutely blown away! The guitar and fiddle complement each other really well, and were a breath of fresh air to the traditional combo of fiddle & accordion. If you book them you won't be disappointed. The dance floor was packed all night. We had a blast!

Thank you to you and all the band, Sunday was fantastic fun! We all loved the ceilidh, even my friends from the south of England who'd never done it before! Everyone loved the music, a few vet friends are on are halfway ball organising committee took a few of your cards so they clearly were fans! Thanks so much for playing, I hope you had as much fun as we did! I'll send some photos through when Ollie gets them to me. Many thanks,
Olivia
Dear Mary and the rest of the Ceilidh Band, Thank you for performing at our wedding. Everyone really enjoyed the Ceilidh and the music through the ceremony was beautiful. Many thanks again,
