Six piece ceilidh and covers band
comprising of keyboards, fiddle vocals and percussion, drums/percussion, rhythm guitar and vocals, and lead guitar /bass guitar and vocals. Formed in 2005, some members of the band have been together, in other guises for more than ten years, leading Ceilidhs, performing at parties, weddings, Hogmanay events, and travelling extensively
in Europe and as far away as Taiwan, playing for the Ballochleam Highland Dancers.

The callers call the Ceilidh dances when required and can teach excellent new set dances and reels to your guests, within minutes, at your wedding or party, or for a really special event, ex Scottish Highland dancing champion, teacher and professional caller, will come along, and call for your Ceilidh. She can even provide dancers to demonstrate the dances, for a small extra fee.

All members of the band have many years experience in the music world, and the band can switch between Folk music, Ceilidh and Pop with ease. Pop covers range from Beatles to Greenday, Elvis to Snow Patrol. If you have a particular request for your wedding or party, let us know, and we will learn it, if it is not already in our song list.
The band can perform as a ceilidh and covers band, ceilidh only band, a covers only band , providing tasteful background music, or as live music to support Highland Dancers.
The bands great strength is in the musical diversity. When switching from ceilidh to pop music, you will scarcely believe the same band is still on stage.
.
Recently the band have performed at weddings in Stirling and Edinburgh Castles. Airth Castle, Melville Castle, and at many top hotels throughout Central Scotland.

The band were the hogmanay ceilidh band at the prestigious Cameron House Hotel in December 2007.
The Dancers also appeared on GMTV, broadcast from Cameron house, and at the evening Hogmanay ceilidh.

Reviews:

A big thank you from all Ranks at 52 Signal Squadron East Kilbride We have been running a Burns supper in this TA centre for over forty years now and as would be expected the last one was better than the one before and so on through the years. Last year we decided to try a different angle to our burns supper so that we could move away from the traditional stag night scenario and try to make our female members and indeed our partners have a night that they could both look forward to and indeed look back and remember what a fantastic event. Following on from last years absolutely fantastic night we decided to go again with the Ceilidh Band and chose this band again for the second year running. This was the easiest decision we had to make in the build up to the dinner night in fact several guests from last year had asked for the Band by name. The band turned up early on the day to set up bang on the arranged time they got there sound checks completed and were away out of our way to enable us to finish setting up. On the night they were absolutely fantastic as expected and they gave everyone who required it a walk through talk through demonstration of every set before they played. I will no doubt be in charge of organising next years burns Supper and would have no hesitation in recommending that we again use the band as the Main entertainment for the evening. In fact we may be organising a St Andrews night later on in the year and if I have my way I will be trying for a Ceilidh band and will be asking for this band again.
