Coming to Jive and Swing through rock, classic, blues and jazz, The Band have a wealth of experience performing live to audiences of all kinds and present a humorous, high octane show with jumping rhythms and a pumping beat.
The classic line-up of vocals, sax, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums allows the band to faithfully recreate the music that was all the rage in the 1940’s and 50’s and the current play list includes many of the hits that had audiences rocking and rolling in the aisles years before rock and roll had even been thought of. Compositions by the jump jive greats, Louis Jordan, Cab Calloway and Louis Prima feature widely in the set along with more contemporary work by artists such as Brian Setzer and it's all tied together with a light hearted, tongue in cheek delivery between numbers.
The Band play a two hour show split into hour long sets during which the audience will be invited to join in on chorus lines and cajoled into dancing if they are not already boogying across the floor.
So if you’re looking for a nice band to play nice music you’re obviously in the wrong place – but if you want to dance and party through the night then these are your boys!

Well, Sunday was really something special! The band literally took the roof off the Pub. They were awesome and it was probably one of the best gigs we have had at the Pub. I have never seen so many crazy shirts.
