John England is a self contained vocalist entertainer who plays guitar and keyboard. The emphasis is upon live music John plays guitar and uses a sophisticated keyboard for backing when singing. In any event, he plays either guitar or keyboard live.
John has an impressive repertoire of songs from all genres and from all decades but admits to fact he is a fan of the great guitar bands of the sixties, hence will usually perform various pieces of music from that era, using his treasured 1962 Fender Stratocaster. John has an easy going stage presence and will engage with the audience, while maintaining a very professional approach to the sound he produces. As an ex session man, John continues his pursuit of excellence in music as a live show entertainer.
John has performed in a number of countries, including South America, the Middle East and Europe. As a young person, he was taught guitar and piano. He worked as a session man based in London for a number of years before travelling the world.
Very much the professional and knowledgeable musician, John is also an entertainer who enjoys his work but will always pick his music to suit his audience.

Rates
Travelling time and distance has to be considered when negotiating a fee. Written contracts available if required. This is for 1 musician and equipment. Times can be arranged accordingly.

All equipment is PAT tested and artist has indemnity insurance.
John does not perform from a set routine which allows for absolute versatility to suit any given audience. However upon request , he will tailor a song set to suit a particular audience.
As a general guide, John will usually perform a selection of songs and melodies covering rock & roll, country; sixties through to the present. John will also perform solo guitar music from diverse artistes such as the Shadows, Mark Knopfler; Eric Clapton; Gary Moore and Chet Atkins to name a few.
While featuring his keyboard, John will usually perform music from such artistes as Elton John, Billy Joel.....even Chas and Dave.
