This great band have performed at venues like Liverpool's Cavern Club and Glastonbury festival. They feature electrifying, contemporary and original folk rock, with scorching electric violin and incredible flute / sax, beautiful vocals, powerful originals and classic tracks. They've been compared to Curved Air.
Elaine Samuels with Gavin Jones, Annie Parker, Mike Hislop and Alan Barwise play as the electrifying, contemporary, folk rock band, featuring Elaine’s “hauntingly beautiful and deeply emotional” vocals, powerful songs and guitar playing, Gavin's incredible violin playing, Annie’s extraordinary flute & sax playing, Mike’s driving bass guitar and Alan’s expert drumming and percussion.
The band are renowned for their powerful, original, contemporary folk / rock numbers, often mystical in nature; like “Dragonfire” and “Morrigan” as well as stunning takes on some classic tracks including Eagles, Kinks, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Corrs and Fleetwood Mac numbers.
Other special features of the band are their lovely harmonies and the musical interplay between lead instrumentalists Gavin and Annie. Not only do they produce beautiful solos and foot stomping jigs and reels but they are both superb at on the spot improvisations and fly into thrilling musical duels live on stage.
They have been performing at clubs and festivals, including Glastonbury and Guildford, since the '90s. In 2006 the band performed a special concert at the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, where they met John Lennon's sister, Julia, who came backstage after their performance to compliment them.
Neil Mach I was still humming ‘The Chain’ (Fleetwood Mac) days later, but I also loved their self-penned tunes like Meta-Mor-Phosis and Dragonfire. Band leader has a sweet yet powerful ‘Country & Western’ type voice, well suited to the very English misty, moody and magical themes. Annie adds some smoke and fire on flute, whilst Gavin creates drama and majesty on electric violin. Mike on bass and Alan on drums provide the rhythm to the polished, meticulously crafted songs from this band.
Ian Gorman elaine cheers for fri great music and a great bunch of people. Was a great set with your own original style to some classics, and was enlightening to see musicians who really enjoy their music and each others company, there was smiles while you all played all the way..

Heard you tonight for the first time, really very good. Loved the soul of the band, the Fleetwood Mac and Eagles blew me away. A couple of times you moved me to tears with your own songs.
