A fantastic seven piece wedding, party and function band, located in and around Leeds, West Yorkshire. Combining the sounds of soul, motown, disco, funk, r’n’b, pop, jazz and beat in a repertoire that spans over 70 years, they are able to accommodate many different musical tastes in a package that is finished off with an outstanding level of musicianship, and a feel that cannot be beaten.Available for weddings, corporate events, private parties (or any excuse for a good time), can deliver the soul to a party and get people on the dance floor. Quite simply, they are the best choice for any function, large or small!
Originally formed in 2008, they are a seven piece band, consisting of vocals, guitar, keyboards, saxophone, trumpet, bass and drums. Whilst mainly performing in the North of England and the Midlands, are available for any booking all over the UK. To add value to their excellent performances as, background music can be provided in the form of a jazz quintet, quartet or trio. This is an excellent accompaniment to any function (for example, a wedding breakfast) and can easily be arranged at request. They can even arrange music for a wedding ceremony, playing piano or as an acoustic duo. With a state-of-the-art sound system, lighting, top-notch instruments and equipment (which is all fully PAT tested), have the knowledge and gear to make your night amazing. Of course, they are also fully covered by public liability insurance.
The manager and sound engineer, has years of event management experience. As sound engineer, he can ensure meticulous attention to sound system for perfection on the night. Being a former artiste with a background in soul, he was a natural choice for. His knowledge of dealing with the specific requirements of public, private and corporate clientele is invaluable to the band and their audience.
We always have a band at our end of year celebrations, and are generally forced to endure a sloppy mix of club classics and boyband style pop! Kabuki brought something totally new to the occasion, and I just wish we’d found you earlier. Well done!”

Hi , it’s MRS Kempton here. I really want to give you a sincere thanks for playing at our wedding. As you know, my Husband and I are professionally involved in music so choosing a band that would live up to our expectations was difficult, but we are absolutely sure we made the right choice. There were many, many musicians present and they have all commented on how great you were; they loved the jazz (I think a few were quite green with envy, hehehe!) Your recordings are good, and they persuaded us to book you, but we never in a million years anticipated you guys to be SO good.
