The band, based in the North East of Scotland, are a five-piece ceilidh to covers band with over 27 years experiance and are a blend of Fiddle, Lead guitar, Rytham Guitar, Keyboard, Drums and vocals.

Being a totally live band, not relying on 'backing tracks' to enhance our sound, gives us the flexibility to integrate and participate with our audience and gives a relaxing, fun loving feel to any event where we perform.

Our selection of music and songs are not purely traditional Ceilidh as we offer a selection of titles from the 1950's through to the present day covers. This gives a wide variety of music to which anyone can dance to at your wedding, function, or corporate event and offers splendid entertainment for all ages and tastes.

We call all the popular Scottish country dances such as Eightsome Reels, Gay Gordons, Strip the Willow, Canadian Barn Dance, The Virginia Reel, Dashing White Sergeant and many, many more.

Calling the Scottish dances helps all those in the audience not familiar with the steps to have a go and primarily have fun. In addition, we also play a selection of traditional music from Ireland and Scotland which is always well received. But! that's not all, we also cover pop, rock, country.

As you can imagine with over 27 years experience as live entertainers we have a vast interchangeable play list and a great ability to read our audience and adapt to suit and love to have a bit of banter and fun with the crowd.

Reviews

Lorna and Tim Just a quick email to say thanks very much for last Saturday! You and the rest of the band were fantastic, we'd certainly recommend you and we've had many people come up and say how much they enjoyed the band. It was lovely to see so many people (who I didn't expect to be up on the floor) dancing their socks off! I hope you got enough to eat and also that you got stuck into the stovies, I feel bad for not making sure of this!?!

Please say thanks to everyone else for us too

The Trip Advisor, Travel Review The meal provided at the ball was absolutely first class as always - what a glorious spread. The musical entertainment provided by a the 5 piece band and what a night we had - made even better by the amount of English visitors, resident for the local ski-ing, all of whom on more than one occasion told our party that they had never enjoyed themselves so much for years. Well done the band and Management take note - they are definitely worth a regular spot

Steve I just wanted to say thanks so much for playing such a great set and really entertaining our guests at our wedding. Please pass my thanks on to everyone else in the band too. You were really, really good (and remarkably patient with the many English people there who had never been to a ceilidh before!)

I also really appreciate you letting my band play your instruments - it was a real moment for me to be able to play at my own wedding (although the instruments didn't sound half as good in our hands as they did in yours!)

Janine and I had a fantastic wedding day and are still smiling about it now - so thanks again for the part you played in making it all go so well. We will definitely recommend you to our friends

Davie and Mhairi Been meaning to email you last week and thank you but there seems to be a post wedding rush on as well as the pre wedding rush.

We had a great wedding night and everyone we have spoke said the band were brilliant and we couldn't agree more. Thanks again for making our dance.
