This Band is a superb 1940's themed band which will transport you back to a time when Britain stood alone.
This Band brings the music of the war years to your event no matter how large or small it is and represents a group of 6 musicians who have joined together to keeps spirits up on the Home Front.
Music is provided by 5 experienced instrumentalists, all of whom have performed on ITV's ‘Alan Titchmarsh Show’ and on the BBC 1 production of 'The Magicians', who are able to seamlessly switch from slow romantic numbers to swing and, of course, out and out patriotic numbers.
Their singer is an experienced and well known singer who has performed all over the UK and who has just performed, for the third year running, at the Birmingham Military Tattoo to an audience of 20,000 people.
Based in the South East of England, the band performs music from the period to include classics from Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields, and their contemporaries.
This is not a 'Big Band' and the majority of their repertoire is British Music of the period with the odd American swing number thrown in. There are plenty of Big Bands and Swing Bands but only one ‘Victory’ Band. If you are holding any sort of 1940’s event or simply need a British feel for your street party this band is ideal to set the scene for your Land of Hope and Glory.

Well, you good people were stunning!!!!
Really good comments from visitors, Museum volunteers and Committee, exhibitors and re-enactors; you should be really proud of yourselves, it was fantastic and the whole event was buzzing.
The dancers said how well and easily they could work with your style, and I must say you were the ones who really brought the mood for the event!
I would like to think that you would be kind enough to come again - you were great!
