This is a fantastic band that perform traditional Irish folk tunes: jigs, reels, polkas, hornpipes, waltzes, airs, slip-jigs, slides etc
Instruments can include Irish flute, tenor banjo, mandola, tin whistle, bodhran, low D whistle & guitar, depending on the event, and vocals.
Uilleann pipes, fiddles, concertina, mandolin, double bass, melodeon, Celtic harp, percussion, vocals, flutes, whistles, bouzouki, recorder, bones etc.
The band also work as an Irish ceilidh band, with a caller for dancing (all abilities), and provide all amplification etc.
Their caller, is excellent at choosing the dances to suit the dancers' abilities, and we've been getting everyone dancing at weddings and other events for years.
The caller uses a radio mic so that she's among the dancers while she calls the steps, while the rest of the band play traditional dance tunes on fiddle, Irish pipes, guitar, tenor banjo, Irish flute and tin whistles.
