This Piper has played the pipes in many countries, both as a soloist and as a member of several highly regarded pipe bands. Is at the present time a 'guest' player with the British Airways Pipes & Drums.
This piper commenced learning the pipes at the age of 9 nine years and received tuition from several of the top pipers from the 20th century.
He was a successful competitor during the 1980s and 90s winning prizes at the worlds premier solo piping events at Oban, Inverness, London and the Isle of Skye as well many other competitions and Highland games in Scotland, England and New Zealand.
He is a registered solo piping adjudicator, regularly receiving invitations to judge competitions across the UK and overseas.
He is a past Vice President of the Scottish Piping Society of London, having previously served that organisation as it's Pipe Major. Although 'retired' from the solo competition circuit, as well as regular judging commitments, He currently teaches and mentors a number of today's competing pipers
He is the official piper to London’s prestigious Caledonian Club.
