A composite of three highly trained and well experienced session musicians and songwriters, they became a fully-fledged band in September 2015. Based around the core trio of Lewis (guitar & vocals), Rob Grist (drums & piano) and Max Mees (double/electric bass), the group combines their diverse and shared interests in blues, folk and soul to create a dynamic and distinctive live sound. Their musical style draws on their love of rhythm and blues and explores an eclectic range of influences including traditional British folk, American roots music and wider European traditions.
We have found our unique angle in our three part harmonies and unique arrangements of well known songs. We take the songs from their original settings, leave all that you love about them and spice them up to give them our unique blues/soulful touch. Lewis' vocal has been compared to "vocal acrobatics" and "like caramel" from some fans and his range stretches from the baritone to head register scales like jeff buckley. Our original songs go down as well as our covers and we pepper our sets with them here and there so you barely notice while you're dancing!

We don't drink very much but a couple of drinks are always appreciated.
