Rock and pop covers band playing songs from the 1960s through to the 2000s.
The singer, Ash, is a great fan of David Bowie so there are several of his tracks in the repertoire.

a 5-piece band based in the Tunbridge Wells/Sevenoaks area. The Velvet Goldmine have been together for over 3 years and play in pubs and for private functions throughout Kent, Sussex and South London.

The band are:

Ash Burton - vocals and harmonica

John Lusher - acoustic guitar, keyboards and vocals

Tedd Mills - electric guitar and vocals

Stefan Mniszko - bass guitar and vocals

David Ross - drums and vocals

The singer, Ash, is a great performer with a good voice and is also an excellent harmonica player.
The combination of electric and acoustic guitar in most songs and the attention to arrangements enables the band to vary the sound and feel of the material and to avoid sounding 'samey' throughout the set.

Band members are a very experienced. Three have been playing in a variety of bands regularly for over 30 years. The others for 15 and 20 years.
have been playing together for over 3 years and play an average of 25 performances a year.

Mostly pubs and private functions - weddings and birthday parties.
